Refunds & Exchanges
Last day for Fall 2013 textbook refunds is Tuesday, August 2013 with current original receipt and books in original condition.
PLEASE CHECK THE BOTTOM OF YOUR RECEIPT FOR THE CURRENT REFUND DEADLINE!!!
You MUST have your original receipt for ALL returns/exchanges.
NO REFUNDS-EXCEPT FOR THE 1ST WEEK OF CLASSES EACH SEMESTER
A REFUND/EXCHANGE WILL BE GIVEN IF:
- Books are returned in original condition by the refund deadline.
- New textbooks come back new, meaning in mint condition. No tears, or writing or markings in the book of any kind.
- Shrink wrapped textbooks are still wrapped in the original cellophane with the NO RETURN IF UNWRAPPED STICKER.
No REFUNDS/EXCHANGES on the following: catalogs, schedules, general supplies, electronics, software, reference books, food/drinks, clothing, sale merchandise, shipping fees.
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THE CONDITION OF ALL MERCHANDISE BEING RETURNED. We reserve the right to refuse service, orders, or advertising requests on this site.
ONLINE PURCHASES
The date the order was received by a person at the customer's address will be considered the purchase date for return purposes. The shipping fee is not refundable. Returns of merchandise purchased online must be shipped on or before the return deadline as stated on the receipt. The return shipping fee is the responsibility of the customer. Los Medanos College Bookstore is not responsible for lost or damaged returned merchandise. This means you need to write the return address clearly, insure your return and pack it well. Please ship all returns to Los Medanos College Bookstore via UPS or FedEx Ground.
